Dear Henry,
It has been 5 years since you left us here.
We’ve been missing your jokes and your motivation. How you always made our lazy butts to get up and face some real adventure and tons of great moments ever since.
I remember when we met at the training of commissioners as we shared one room. It was late evening and I was so unbelievably exhausted after hours of lectures that I was glad to finally lie down to bed and rest a bit. But you, you took a shower and dragged me out to some restaurant down the city. Oh man you could hand out your energy! Anyway the night was the big night and I admit I was having a good time back then and I dare to say that we bump into good guys on that training. And as I could get to know you little bit more, you told me that you are into one girl in the city where you lived and were thinking about buying a new house and move to the countryside. Man it seemed like you always get what you wanted and you really knew how to fight for it. I think that’s one of the things I’ve learned from you.
Since then we tried to visit each other from time to time and we by coincidence also run into each other one year later on training again. Nothing changed much except the fact that you were engaged with Alice. But we agreed that few times a year we get together with our friends and make some stag-party. So we usually made some trips through country and had really great moments. I remember that our girlfriends were always so jealous and angry but you knew how to calm them down. I remember that as an “indulgences” you always bought Alice bunch of roses and invited her to romantic dinner. Well I wish you two could get it into the final as you’d planned. Alice misses you really much Henry.
I wish I told you how much you meant to us while you were still here.
Yours Graham Ellington
