It is with sadness and a heavy heart that I mention the passing of our son, dad, uncle and college and my close friend Larry Fonseca.
I will never forget how we became friends and after few years later also co-owners of our fancy French restaurant. He had a great passion for food and cooking. He always enjoyed luxurious meals and had fined taste. His dream was to open a restaurant. It took many years and many efforts, from small bars and snack bars he finally bought a small restaurant that was on sale and had a very good location. The only problem was that Larry didn’t have much finances but he got the spirit. Me, on the other side, I wasn’t short of money but my job just didn’t satisfy me enough. After many hours of discussion we decided to go for this together. And today I’m glad he got me into this. Now I know where my place is. Larry took care of the kitchen as a main chef and I took care of the economical issues concerning our business. I think we did a quite nice job together. I dare say our place was one of the most visited in town.
We have lost a great guy. A modest and caring individual, direct and up front in his approach, kind of a “what you see is what you get” type of guy.
We will forever honor his memory and never forget Larry.
