Born Derrick Montgomery in Galveston on the 23rd December 1956, he came to Pasadena in his thirties when he started his own business to get some clients so he wouldn’t go bankrupt again as it happened in Pasadena.
His life there was always what he hoped for: Derrick loved his work as a mechanic in car repair. As a kid he always helped his father whenever the car broke so he more or less knew what he wanted to do. His dad would be proud of him.
He will be remembered by his wife Angelina Montgomery.
We will miss him dearly.
